What the app collects

• Card photos. When you scan a card, the photos (front, and the back or angled shot if you take them) are sent to our server and passed to Anthropic's Claude to estimate the grade. The front photo also goes to our price provider, Scrydex, to find the exact card and printing. Neither keeps it for us, and we don't keep them after the grade comes back unless you have backup turned on.
• Your binder. Cards, notes, values and grading submissions live on your phone. Backup is on by default: a copy and your card photos are stored on our server (Cloudflare) under an anonymous account id. Turn it off any time in Settings → Backup.
• Card lookups. To show live prices and population counts we look up the card's name and number with our price provider, Scrydex. Nothing about you is sent.
• Questions you ask about a card. The question and that card's details (grade, prices) go to Anthropic's Claude to write the answer. We don't keep the conversation.
• Leaderboard (only if you join). The display name you pick, your Instagram handle if you choose to add one, and your vault's value and card count are shown to other players. Leave any time from the Ranks tab; deleting your backup removes it too.
• Email and password (only if you add a login). Your email lets you log in to the same vault on another phone. The password is stored only as a salted hash; nobody can read it. We email you news and deals only if you tick that box, and every email has a way to stop them.
• Subscriptions. Purchases go through Apple or Google. RevenueCat tells us whether your subscription is active; we never see your payment details.

What we don't do

No ads, no tracking across other apps or sites, no selling or sharing your data. We never put your card photos in ads, store pages or anything public unless you tell us yes first. Without a login there is no name, email or phone number on your account.

Deleting your data

In the app: Settings → Backup → Delete account. That removes your vault copy, photos, leaderboard entry, value history, email login and account from our server right away. Deleting the app removes everything on your phone.
